The Wives of Los Alamos by Tarashea Nesbit 230 pages

The title of this book tells the story.  It is a retelling of the lives of the women who were married to the scientists who invented the atom bomb. The story begins with their summons to drop their current lives and move to Los Alamos, New Mexico.  It ends with the conclusion of the project and their moves back into society.

The cadence of the story is hypnotizing. The manner in which Nesbit chose to write the stories of the women is unique and fascinating.

I thought this was an extremely well written and interesting book. I would highly recommend it.
